Amtrak service btwn NYC and Boston suspended

All Amtrak service between New York and Boston has been suspended.

Service is suspended until Saturday due to damage from a heavy truck that struck the overhead power system.

Amtrak service from Springfield, Mass., to New Haven, Conn., is continuing to operate with some delay.

Northeast Corridor service between New York and Washington DC is not affected at this time.

Amtrak crews are working to resolve the issue and additional information will be provided when available.
