NYPD releases image of serial groper suspect

UPPER EAST SIDE

But this time a surveillance camera captured his image.

Police say the suspect targets women on the Upper East Side, often approaching them from behind and groping them.

Police say he asked a 24-year-old woman for directions in the 77th Street and Lexington Avenue subway station last Sunday.

After leaving the subway station, police say he followed the victim to her home and into her building.

When the victim realized she was being followed she confronted the suspect who then fled the location.

Police were able to get surveillance video showing the suspect exiting the turnstile.

The suspect has a distinguishing characteristic; his height. Police say he's 4'11".

The man responsible for the seven previous groping incidents is the subject of wanted posters in Carl Shurz Park.

There's a $2,000 reward for information leading to his arrest.
