In order to be considered for employment, you must submit an online application. You will then be contacted for an interview. Interviews are set to begin Wednesday.
Amerivents Event Staffing & Management is staffing the concession stands for this year's Open.
"This partnership is the latest in a series of initiatives by my office to provide Queens residents with employment opportunities. The jobs created by the 2010 US Tennis Open will provide critical support to many residents who need to make it through these tough economic times", said Marshall. "That is why I have partnered with Amerivents to invite borough residents to apply for these jobs right here in Queens in a world-class venue."
To be considered for these employment opportunities, applicants must first register online at www.amerivents.com (go to "Talent Registration" and submit a profile). Any additional questions can be forwarded to usopen@amerivents.com.
Applicants can continue to register online until August 12th.
All interviews are being hosted in Queens locations.
