The Westchester district attorney's office says 26-year-old Tanisha Gomez of Queens pleaded not guilty Wednesday to second-degree manslaughter at Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx.
She was ordered held unless she posts $50,000 bail. She is due back in court Aug. 8. If convicted she could be sentenced to 15 years in prison.
The complaint against Gomez says she drove more than six miles north in the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 on Sunday while intoxicated.
Police said her minivan hit a car carrying two New Jersey men in New Rochelle. The crash killed Reginald Lee, 29, of East Orange, N.J. The other man survived.
