The majority of New York City's restaurants are getting an "A" grade, but just barely, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Department of Health officials say 69 percent of restaurants inspected received an A, while 15 percent scored a B and 4 percent a C, which is the lowest mark.

The remaining restaurants are contesting their scores.

The city has inspected 90 percent of 24,000 restaurants.
