Two more NYC deaths blamed on heat wave

NEW YORK

A 78-year-old woman and a 72-year-old woman, both of the Bronx and who both died on July 23, died from hyperthermia due to exposure to high environmental temperature with underlying natural disease.

The total number of deaths that have been certified as hyperthermia is now four.

A 10-year-old girl and a 94-year-old woman, both from Brooklyn, also died from hyperthermia with underlying medical conditions.

No names have been released.
