$100,000 lotto scam busted on Long Island

HEMPSTEAD

Kenia Bonilla-Corea, 26, and 50-year-old Donald Funderburk are facing grand larceny charges.

Police say Bonilla-Corea was a cashier at the Beatriz Pantry in Hempstead, where she allegedly printed scores of lottery tickets for Funderburk, who received the tickets without paying for them.

Authorities say the owner contacted New York Lottery officials after observing the thefts on surveillance video.
