The National September 11th Memorial is releasing more free visitor passes through its online site.

Passes are being made available for the memorial's public opening on September 12.

Originally, 24,000 visitor tickets were available, but they were snatched up on the first day when the reservation system launched on July 11. The first 5,000 were secured for various dates in just the first hour of operation.
