In the surveillance video, the suspect is seen placing the 79-year-old victim in a choke hold, before removing personal property and fleeing on foot.
The victim was transported to St. Barnabus Hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 18-24 years old. He's 5'10", 200-220 lbs, wearing a dark colored t-shirt, blue jeans and a dark baseball cap.
