All mass tranist, except Port Jervis, back to normal

NEW YORK

Thursday morning, all 11 branches of the Long Island Rail Road are back in service for the first time since the storm struck.

Also, Metro-North will expand bus service for the Port Jervis line, which is suspended indefinitely because of track damage and flooding that has been described as "catastrophic."

It could take months to fix.

The LIRR restored service between Ronkonkoma and Greenport just in time for Thursday's a.m. rush. That was the last of the lines to experience a service disruption.

Customers should monitor the MTA website, MTA.info, listen to the latest traffic reports and sign up for free E-Alerts for updates on service.

Customers can also contact the LIRR's Travel Information Center at 718-217-5477 (718-217-LIRR). If you are deaf or hard of hearing, use your preferred relay service provider or the free 711 relay to reach LIRR at 718-217-5477.
