Authorities: NYC dealer hid drugs in baby stroller

NEW YORK

The suspect was among three men charged in a New York Police Department and Special Narcotics Prosecutor investigation of drug trafficking and gang violence at a housing project in Chelsea.

Their arrests were announced on Wednesday.

The men were charged with selling heroin, cocaine, crack, prescription painkillers and two guns during seven meetings in recent months with undercover detectives.

Investigators allege one of the defendants brought his daughter along for one sale in June. They say he hid the drugs inside the baby's stroller and diaper bag to avoid detection.
