Police in Queens are searching for a man wanted for robbing at least 11 teenagers of their phones.

The suspect approaches the victims and requests to see their cell phone. If the victim doesn't comply, the suspect then takes out a gun and takes the phone.

So far, no one has been injured in any of the robberies.

The robberies all took place in Fresh Meadows, Bayside, Auburndale, Richmond Hill, Jamaica, Woodhaven, Flushing, or White Stone neighborhoods.

"It's scary for these kids, it's not the kind of neighborhood where these things happen," said Sean Flynn, a Queens resident.

The victims were all teenage boys between the ages of 14 and 19.

"I heard that there are a lot of little kids getting robbed actually," said Andres Nunez, a Queens resident.

The suspect is described as black man in his 20's, 6'4" tall, 185 lbs, with a thin build, close cut black hair, and wearing a black t-shirt wrapped around his head. The suspect also had tattoos on his neck and right arm. The man was wearing Nike copper colored Posites sneakers.
