Cuomo creates fund for farmers post-Irene

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo says he's created a $15 million fund to help farmers recover from Irene.

Cuomo made the announcement Saturday while touring storm damage in Schohaire County.

Senator Kirstin Gillibrand and U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack were also on hand.

President Obama is set to tour damage in Paterson, New Jersey Sunday.

Meantime, crews are making progress restoring power across the tri-state.

On Long Island Saturday night, about 17,838 customers remain without electricity.

There are 50,603 without power in Connecticut.

About 8,168 are without power in New Jersey.
