Cops say NJ woman put cocaine in boyfriend's meal

SOUTH BOUND BROOK

Twenty-nine-year-old Monica Cookman of South Bound Brook is charged with poisoning, aggravated assault and possession of cocaine.

Cookman's boyfriend told police his heart began racing and his throat went numb when he started eating.

Police say Cookman admitted putting two lines of cocaine in her boyfriend's food.

Cookman was not seriously injured.
