Suspect sought in Greenwich Village sex attack

Investigators are trying to identify a man wanted for a sexual assault in Greenwich Village.

The attack happened at 2:00 in the morning last Thursday, September 8.

A man wearing a dark-colored suit grabbed the 23-year-old woman from behind as she entered her apartment building.

Police say the suspect physically and sexually assaulted the woman.

She was treated at an area hospital and released.

He suspect is described as an Hispanic man, around 35 years old, 5'7" to 5'8" tall, and 180 pounds with a thin build.
