A shoplifting arrest turned violent outside a Sears on Long Island.

Detectives say Luis Pulgarin was caught on surveillance video taking the tags off $1,300 worth of merchandise at the Hicksville store.

Two store agents stopped him outside, but they say Pulgarin knocked one of them to the ground before the second agent tackled him.

Police say Pulgarin had two women and a child helping him, but they got away before officers arrived.
