It's already happened twice in the /*Bronx*/.

Police say the two attacks were completely random and unprovoked. Young women riding the number 4 trains in the Bronx are urged to be careful.

"I think it's crazy and it's scary," said Jasmein Lane.

Eyewitness News showed a sketch of the suspect to many young women this afternoon who were at the /*Mount Eden*/ station waiting for the number 4 train.

Police say the suspect is responsible for two attacks, one on September 6 and another just last Monday. In both cases, the young female victims were sitting on the number 4 train at rush hour in the Bronx when the alleged slasher approached them and cut their faces with a sharp object just as the train was pulling into the station.

"It's very dangerous out here, a lot of kids have to be careful," said Katherine Javier.

Making this case even more frightening, both attacks were completely random and unprovoked. The victims were both Hispanic women, 18 and 19 years old. The first attack happened at the East 170th Street station, the next at Mount Eden.

Wanted posters of the suspect are posted at the station.

She is described as a black or Hispanic woman, between 17 and 25 years old. She's between 5'2" and 5'6", weighing about 155 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
