Report: 17 NYPD officers indicted for ticket fixing

17 New York City Police officers have reportedly been indicted in connection with a massive ticket fixing scandal.

Authorities expect the officers to begin surrendering to the Internal Affairs Bureau on Monday.

According to published reports, the officers are accused of fixing tickets for friends and relatives, sometimes in exchange for cash and liquor.

The apparent charges stem from obstruction of justice to official misconduct.
