Other cities want shuttle after Intrepid changes plans

NEW YORK

Now, some of the cities that lost out on winning a shuttle want the selection process reopened after museum officials changed their mind on the location.

The museum now hopes to build a new, separate facility for the enterprise on the other side of 12th Avenue.

It still has to acquire the land, get the zoning changed and then raise the money for the building.

NASA officials are not expected to change their decision.
