Getting between Queens and Midtown will be more challenging this weekend.

Number 7 trains will not run between Queensboro Plaza and Times Square until 5:00 a.m. Monday.

It's the first of five suspensions between the two stations through November, so crews can do maintenance work and install a new signal system.

The E, F, N, Q, S and free shuttle buses will provide alternate service

In addition, on this upcoming weekend (October 7-10), track panel installation will be done south of 33rd Street-Rawson Street.

In order to accommodate this work, Queensboro Plaza-bound 7 trains operate express from 74th Street to Queensboro Plaza, stopping at 61st Street-Woodside.

Customers must 'backride' for skipped stations or change for the E, F or R at 74th Street if traveling to Manhattan.
