29-year-old Christopher Weiss picked up in Huntington after another driver noticed Weiss's truck was missing one of its front tires.
The child wasn't hurt, and was released to family members.
Weiss was taken to jail and charged with Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated with a Child, a felony under Leandra's Law and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Weiss is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on October 22.
