Study links coffee with lower risk of skin cancer

WASHINGTON

New research shows coffee may help ward off basal cell carcinoma, the most common type of skin cancer.

The study found women drinking more than three cups of coffee per day have a 20 percent lower risk of developing BCC than those who drink less than a cup per month.

Men who drink that much coffee saw a nine percent lower risk than men who rarely drink coffee.
