YONKERS, New York

Lori Tangredi made her daily stop for coffee on her way to work on September 30. She decided to spoil herself and buy a bagel to go with it and while she was at it maybe try her luck on a Lottery ticket.

After leaving the deli, she headed to Odell Stationery on North Broadway and purchased a Wheel of Fortune scratch-off ticket in hopes of hitting the $1,000,000 jackpot prize.

The decision paid off when Tangredi scratched the winning combination making the marketing assistant an instant millionaire.

"I basically blew my diet and I decided to go whole hog by adding a Lottery ticket," said the 46-year-old mother of two. "I won the prize while buying my breakfast and claimed it on my lunch break. It was a good day!"

Tangredi will receive an annuity of $50,000 a year for the next 20 years.

"I really only have one thing in mind for the money. I'll use it to help out my children," explained Tangredi.
