NEW YORK Host Bill Evans of Eyewitness News gives us unprecedented access to this family favorite that's been a tradition for so many throughout its 79 years of playing Radio City Music Hall. This year's show includes all the great classics but it's also bolder and brighter than ever as the Rockettes for the first time are part of an exciting, interactive 3D-video game. If you think you've seen this before, you're in for a whole new experience.
Viewers will learn about the challenges facing the 250 people who are responsible for putting on the show as often as five times a day. We'll meet the costume makers behind some of the 1,200 dazzling outfits the Rockettes wear, the creative team behind the magic and the animal trainers who are caretakers for a menagerie of sheep, donkeys and camels.
In additition, you'll get to know some of the young women who carry on the proud tradition of the precision dance team known as the world famous Rockettes. And what holiday show would be complete without a few words from the North Pole's most famous resident -- Santa!
