A toddler was found dead, partially submerged in a stream and still strapped in her car seat. Now, police are searching for her father.
The body was found 24 hours after the girl was reported missing.
Police say a group of teenagers walking through Shark River Park found the girl. She has been identified as 2-year-old Tierra Morgan, of /*Lakehurst*/.
Investigators say her father, Arthur Morgan III, picked her up Monday morning for a court-approved visit. When they didn't return that night, her mother reported her missing.
Police are searching for the 27-year-old Morgan. Although he faces several charges, he has not yet been charged in the girl's death.
The /*Monmouth County*/ Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy to determine how she died.
