More New Yorkers are commuting by bicycle these days.

City officials say a new study shows 8 percent more commuters are getting to and from work by bike.

There are so many bikers now that the city is turning 6,000 poles from old parking meters into bike racks.

Also, the city's new bike-rental program is expected to add another 10,000 more bicycles to city streets by next summer.
