Charter school approved for Brooklyn building

Despite angry opposition, a charter school was approved Wednesday night to move into a Brooklyn building that already houses three other schools.

Teachers and parents packed a meeting of the Panel for Educational Policy to protest plans for the Success Academy Cobble Hill.

Opponents say the school will overcrowd the building, and take away resources from the public schools already there.

Supporters say there's plenty of room.

The school is set to open in august.
