Keon Scott is 10 years old, but make no mistake, he's the man in charge here.
He came up with the idea for the Harlem neighborhood toy drive, organized it, and chose the homeless shelter the toys would go to.
"I get a lot of stuff for Christmas and a lot of kids they don't get lots for Christmas, and I wanted to give them the Christmas they never had," Keon Scott said.
"He told me people don't really remember the reason for Christmas, it's better to give than to receive, and since he's always receiving , this year he wanted to give out," said Kimberly Scott, Keon's mother.
So, to get the word out and to get donations, they put up fliers in the neighborhood, and at first the response wasn't exactly what they had hoped. At first, just family members and friends made donations, but then, word got out, because how could you say no to this idea?
More than a hundred people donated toys and more.
Thursday night, Keon and some friends packed the toys in bags, they loaded up the sleigh, and brought the presents to the Harriet Tubman Shelter for Homeless Families.
"It makes me feel happy to put a smile on kids' faces," Keon Scott said.
Keon and his family are not wealthy, he doesn't have all the things many kids his age have, but he has so much more.
"What do you want for Christmas?" Eyewitness News reporter Jim Dolan asked Keon.
"I have everything that I want," Keon Scott said.
