Acid reflux a growing problem

Stomach acid leaking back into the esophagus has been linked to esophageal cancer.

Experts say drinking things like coffee, fatty foods and meals before bedtime make it worse.

Medications could lead to weaker bones, especially in older women.

A new incision-less surgery that creates a new valve between the stomach and esophagus has been found to correct the problem for some people.
