NYC Marathon organizers increase fee by $60

Runners are going to have to pay more to take part in the New York City Marathon this year.

Organizers of the event say they are increasing the entry fee by $60 because the city is now charging them for police and traffic control.

A record 47,763 people took part in last year's marathon.
