New York City police are trying to end a three-month string of robberies in Manhattan.

Police believe the same man has robbed at least 17 businesses in the borough since October.

He sometimes shows a knife and has been helped by another man, who police believe they have in custody.

Duwayne Bascom, 30, of Brooklyn, was arrested and is facing robbery charges.

The suspect still on the loose is described as a black male, 20 to 30 years old and standing 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 with short braids.

No injuries have been reported in the incidents.
