Vitamin helps antidepressants work better

A vitamin has been found to help antidepressants work better.

It's folate.

While you may get enough in your diet, some bodies don't convert it to a chemical needed to process anti-depressants effectively.

So, scientists have made a synthetic form of it, which is sold under the name Deplin.

Many patients have said it makes their anti-depressant work better.

Deplin is available by prescription only.
