SI teen suicide may lead to cyber bullying law

The death of a Staten Island teen may lead to legislation against cyber bullying.

Bronx Senator Jeff Klein is introducing a bill that would revise the state's stalking and harassment laws to cover electronic bullying.

The change would call for harsher punishments for people convicted of cyber bullying.

The proposal comes after 15-year-old Amanda Cummings committed suicide last month.

Her family claims she was tormented by bullies at school and online.
