Teen rescued from East River

A teenager was rescued from the frigid waters of the East River.

Members of the FDNY Marine Unit jumped in to save the 18-year-old boy around 6 p.m. Thursday.

He was discovered in the waters just off East 87th Street.

It's not clear how the teen ended up in the water but he may have been in a raft that lost air.

He suffered possible hypothermia, but is expected to fine.
