The Manhattan District Attorney's Office has opened a criminal investigation into last month's horrible elevator death of advertising executive Suzanne Hart.

According to the New York Post, investigators have not yet identified the cause of the accident.

But they are reportedly focusing on electrical work performed on the elevator by its maintenance contractor, Transel.

Investigators say Hart's leg was caught in the door when the elevator rose suddenly, dragging her between floors.
