Monday morning, we got to see that on "Live with Kelly" when one lucky couple was picked for a dream wedding giveaway in Hawaii.
The couple chosen has had more than its share of heart ache.
But now, it is their turn to smile again.
"The names of the winning couple, who will be joining us in Hawaii is, Eileen Bellew and Kevin Houston from New York!" Kelly Ripa announced.
Eileen and Kevin hugged each other with joy when they heard the news.
Their reaction broadcast to the "Live with Kelly" audience via Skype.
The couple had good reason to celebrate after getting a second chance at love.
Viewers chose them over five finalists for a dream wedding giveaway after hearing their story on "Live".
Eileen's husband of 10 years, John Bellew, one of New York City's Bravest, lost his life in a catastrophic fire in 2005, which was known as Black Sunday.
Eileen and John had four children, ages 6, 3, 2, and 5 months at the time of John's death.
Kevin's wife passed away from a battle with a long term illness, also at a young age.
Both Eileen and Kevin lived in Pearl River, New York.
They didn't know each other at the time, but along the way they met, fell in love and decided to join their families together, tied by the sacred vows of marriage.
When they heard "Live with Kelly" was offering a wedding giveaway they submitted a letter and a video telling their story.
"With your vote our second chance at love can become a reality," the couple said in their video.
Monday morning, reality came a calling.
The viewers picked them to receive an amazing trip.
"We have to tell you your story really touched our hearts," Ripa said.
The couple has seven children between them and a big family beyond that.
They say it won't be easy figuring out who they can take, but they say they are so thankful to the viewers for picking them, and are excited at what the future holds.
The couple won a trip for 30 people to the Aulani Disney Resort and Spa on Oahu, one of the top wedding destinations in the world.
