Yemeni president coming to NYC for treatment

Departing Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh is expected to arrive in New York City Wednesday for medical treatment.

State Department officials confirmed Saleh's visit to ABC News.

He will be treated at New York Presbyterian Hospital on the Upper East Side.

The treatment reportedly is related to burns he suffered after a bomb blast in is palace last year.

Saleh agreed to end his 33-year rule after a year of protests and international pressure.
