Funds honor memory of girls killed in Stamford fire

STAMFORD, Conn.

One fund honoring Lily, Grace and Sarah Badger has been set up at the Windward School in White Plains.

Head of School John Russell says it will provide scholarships to students who would otherwise be unable to attend the private school.

The girls' father, /*Matthew Badger*/, announced last week that he was starting a foundation in their honor to support the arts in public schools.

The fire killed 7-year-old twins Grace and Sarah, 9-year-old Lily, and their grandparents, Lomer and Pauline Johnson.

The girls' mother, /*Madonna Badger*/, and a friend escaped.
