Bloomberg gun campaign takes aim at Mormon church

NEW YORK

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's anti-gun campaign has released the results of an undercover investigation of online sales.

The report says KSL.com is one of the most active and unregulated gun sale portals on the web. It allows buyers and sellers to complete a gun sale without identifying themselves.

The site reportedly belongs to the Mormon church.

Authorities performing integrity checks on the site, in which they tried to buy guns while openly declaring they could not pass a background check, were reportedly successful in eight of 12 attempts.
