Police are searching for a group of four thieves in Brooklyn targeting people walking down the street.

Detectives believe this team of two men and two women are involved in at least five robberies that took place from last November up until last Thursday.

Cops say they distract their victims by asking for directions and then steal anything they can quickly grab like necklaces, cash, cell phones, and take off running.

A gun was used in at least two of the robberies.
