Morris County Prosecutor Robert Bianchi said 37-year-old Brian Davis and a 58-year-old victim were both undergoing surgery Monday night for undisclosed wounds. And a 26-year-old victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
The stabbings occurred just before 3 p.m. Monday at a Parsippany apartment. Bianchi said responding officers found Davis, who was armed with a knife, inside the unit. They arrested him there after a brief struggle.
A law enforcement source tells Eyewitness News the suspect was in his apartment stabbing himself when the mother and daughter tried to intervene. The suspect stabbed them after they tried to stop him.
The three do know each other, but they're not related.
The names of the two women and further details on their injuries were not disclosed. Authorities also would not comment on whether Davis had a relationship with either victim.
