Police search for suspect in NJ sex assaults

CLIFFSIDE PARK, New Jersey

Prosecutors say police received a call from a resident who was home at the time of a home invasion and when police showed up to the residence, they found two people to have been sexually assaulted.

Police say the suspect broke into the home and sexually assaulted two people before being chased out of the home by the homeowner.

The alleged incident happened on Washington Avenue.

The suspect is described as a light skinned male, approximately 5'7" to 5'10", thin build, possibly brown to dark hair, wearing blue jeans and a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
