Stubborn 4-alarm fire burns through Brooklyn store

A fourth-alarm fire burned through a furniture store in the Gravesend section of Brooklyn Wednesday morning.

Heavy fire tore through through Dalmazio Imports on West 6th Street just after 4:30 a.m.

Firefighters were forced to fight the flames from the outside of the collapsing one-story structure.

One firefighter sustained a minor injury.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Kings Highway was closed through the morning as 175 firefighters responded to fight the blaze.

The store, which imports furniture from Italy, has been at the site since 1980.
