Jack Fitzpatrick says he has been looking over the evidence in the Gilgo Beach case since taking over the job on March 1.

Police found the remains of eight women, a man and a toddler along Ocean Parkway. Police have identified five of the victims and say they worked as prostitutes.
District Attorney Thomas Spota has said he also believes more than one killer was involved.
