Fastrack repairs under way on A, C and E lines

Fastrack repairs are under way on more Manhattan subway lines this week, meaning late-night and overnight closures for subway riders.

Service on the A, C and E lines will be interrupted for track work through Friday from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

There will be no trains between 59th Street-Columbus Circle and Jay Street during that time period.

The closures are part of the MTA's Fastrack program, where workers do more maintenance on the lines in less time.

In the last few weeks, work was done on the B, D, F and M lines.

The 1, 2 and 3 lines and lines on the West Side and the 4, 5 and 6 lines on the East Side were affected earlier this year.
