Property tax hike warning in Nassau County

Homeowners in Nassau County are being warned about a possible 13% property tax increase.

In his State of the County address Wednesday night, County Executive Ed Mangano said residents could face a steep tax increase or deep cuts in services.

That's if the legislature fails to approve a $102 million plan to fund a decade's worth of property tax payments.
