Another robbery at Woodbridge Center Mall

WOODBRIDGE, N.J.

This time it happened in the Express store on the lower level.

Police say the suspect barged into the store at around 5:30 p.m., displayed a handgun and held up the employees inside.

It's not clear what he got away with. Nobody inside the store was injured. The store was locked down.

The suspect may also be responsible for a robbery at the nearby Game Stop store at Convery Plaza in Perth Amboy.

The robbery there happened about 20 minutes later.

Woodbridge Center Mall spokesman Dave Albertson released a statement saying, "Right now, the police are on scene conducting an investigation. We don't have a lot of information at this time other than we're thankful there were no injuries in this incident. I'd recommend all further inquiries be directed to the Woodbridge Police Department."
