Suffolk County Police say the Port Jefferson man admitted to breaking into the same home in Head of the Harbor twice.
Police say they recovered numerous stolen items from Arlindo DaCruz's van.
They say he also handed out flyers advertising house painting and restoration work.
Detectives are trying to find people who received those flyers.
They're not sure the companies really exist.
