Man arrested for thefts at JFK Airport

A Queens man is under arrest and accused of stealing from unsuspecting travelers at JFK Airport.

Police say 47-year-old Frederick McDonald stole a backpack from a college student from Seattle.

It had four-thousand dollars worth of tuition money in it and a laptop.

Police have linked McDonald to five other thefts since January.

McDonald is charged with six counts of grand larceny.

His bail is set at 100-thousand dollars.
