That 70's store gives you retro decor

NEW YORK

"Louis and I have a mild obsession as you can tell," said Allison Julius, describing their store Masion 24.

Louis Marra and Allison tend to like the same things in part because they're brother and sister. Their parents were in the fashion and display industries.

According to their website https://www.maison24.com/shop.aspx, the two grew up in the 70's surrounded by the latest fashion, especially inside their home. They had a den filled with futuristic décor including Lucite furniture and metal walls and ceilings. The house also sported a living room with horsehair furniture and a shag rug.

Now your living room can have a flashback with a modern touch, from the shag carpet to the furniture.

There also are plenty of accessories here to buy, many under $100. There are good gifts here too, but some pieces will cost much more, like a Lucite crib that Beyonce bought for her son Blue Ivy.

Leave it to Allison and Louis to find such cool items. If some pieces seem a little over the top, you can always start small.
